But Connie wasn\u2019t home so he wandered over to mid-sixties magnet for runaway kids; Hollywood\u2019s <em>Sunset Strip<\/em>, &amp; got mommied by similarly starry-eyed young girls hanging out (he\u2019s the first boy that super-groupie <em>Pamela Des Barres<\/em> ever kissed), his lifelong career as professional hanger-on thus begun! After his evolution to nightclub impresario (his \u201c<em>English Disco<\/em>\u201d introduced 70\u2019s glam rock but had to close down when <em>actual<\/em> disco took over) &amp; eventual radio host, the tables got turned! The heading for this Motion Picture Purgatory which originally appeared in a 2004 issue of The Montreal Mirror was \u201cA Hanger-On Encroached Upon\u2019s A Hanger-On That\u2019s Not Foregone!\u201d As always; the original art\u2019s for sale @ 100 bucks.
