After years of mismanagement, drug, &amp; alcohol abuse, drag-queen-emulating glam rock pioneers &amp; seminal punk band <em>The New York Dolls<\/em> broke up in 1975 leaving member <em>Arthur \u201cKiller\u201d Kane<\/em> (named after his \u201ckiller\u201d bass lines &amp; a nemesis of <em>Buck Rogers<\/em>) to eke out an existence on his own in L.A.! He didn\u2019t fare too well &amp; hit rock bottom in the eighties after seeing former band-mate <em>David Johansen<\/em> in a bit part in <em>Scrooged<\/em> (1988)! Decades later, pop star <em>Morrissey<\/em> asks the band to regroup &amp; play London\u2019s <em>Royal Albert Hall<\/em>! The heading for this Motion Picture Purgatory which originally appeared in a 2006 issue of The Montreal Mirror was \u201cChurch of the Latter Day Dolls!\u201d As always; the original art\u2019s for sale @ 100 bucks.
