Promoted as <em>Evil Dead<\/em> (1981) meets <em>Roger Rabbit<\/em> (1988), <em>Fred (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers) Olen Ray\u2019s<\/em> clunky cash-in on both those hit flicks kicks off with <em>David (Kill Bill) Carradine<\/em> trying to do away with an ancient flesh bound book complete with a wise-cracking wrinkly anthropomorphized embossed cover plagiarized from &amp; virtually identical to Evil Dead\u2019s \u201cbook of the dead\u201d! Then he hops off a chair with a noose around his neck only to resurrect so he can hand-deliver it to 4 scantily clad bimbos &amp; haunt them! The heading for this Motion Picture Purgatory which originally appeared in a 2010 issue of The Montreal Mirror was \u201cTasmanian Devilled Hamming!\u201d (The main creature looks like <em>Warner Bros. Cartoons&#8217; &#8220;Taz&#8221;<\/em>). As always; the original art\u2019s for sale @ 100 bucks. More deets below or contact me for info.
