Welch\u2019s<\/em> secondhand bookstore where I found him mourning the recent death of store mascot <em>Rosie the Cat<\/em>. He was the subject of CGI animator <em>Christopher Landreth\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0Oscar-winning short film <em>Ryan<\/em> where both interviewer &amp; interviewee sprout Day-Glo <em>Cronenbergian<\/em> coral-reef tumors like mood rings. I asked Ryan to elaborate\u2026 The heading for this Motion Picture Purgatory which originally appeared in a 2005 issue of The Montreal Mirror was \u201cBitter-pill eye-candy!\u201d As always; the original art\u2019s for sale @ 100 bucks.
